IIMA gets website for placements

Along with the introduction of a new placement system this year, called the cohort-based system, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has also launched a special website dedicated to placement. The premier institute's placement system will hold its cluster one on Saturday and Sunday.

In an effort to allow the students and recruiters to get to know each other over an extended period of time, IIMA has launched an internally developed Talent Bouquet Website. It contains the profiles of students and recruiters participating in placement. While the website allows recruiters to see the entire student database, it allows students to view and understand job descriptions. The website is also equipped with a search engine which enables the recruiters and students to search using keywords.

Referring to the website, a student of IIMA, said, "The website has received a good response from recruiters and has really helped in the institute's placement this year." While the placement will begin this weekend as its first cluster, the rest of the placements will continue every weekend till all students are placed.
