Rotaract Club of Nirma Institutes (RCNI) will organise the second installment of the national level inter-collegiate youth festival on February 15 and 16.

Titled Horizon'11, the event will provide a common platform to students to showcase their talent.

With a road trip as their theme, Horizon'11 had taken flight on February 5 with Arena - a LAN gaming event featuring NFS, FIFA and Counter Strike conducted at Nirma University.

On February 6, Pirates - a city-wide treasure hunt was conducted on air with their radio partners. But the 'second lap' of this journey will kick off today at Nirma University campus in which various events pertaining to fine arts, dramatics, music, dance, polemics, and more will be organised.

Some of the events scheduled to be held on the two days include Youth Parliament - a mock Indian parliament session wherein participants will represent their respective states, Rhythm - a dance competition which includes solo, duet as well as group dance, Battala Verbal - a debate competition, Nukkad Natak - street play competition, Expressions - a fine arts competition which includes poster making, face painting, glass painting, tattoo making, collage making and more.

Apart from these events, various workshops -- photography, DJ and fashion designing -- will also be conducted. The last day will also feature a live performance by Agnee, considered to be one of the best bands in India.
