Tension has gripped north Kashmir township of Kunzer after a copy of holy Quran was allegedly set on fire.
Police have registered a case and arrested one person in this connection. Hunt is on for another who is on the run. The arrested has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Wani, a resident of Handwara.
Also, police said cops and security forces reached the spot and saved a mosque from being set on fire.
“One house was set on fire (by the mob). Timely action by fire department, police and security forces saved other houses in a locality”, police said.
