Four of a family die of suspected food poisoning in Jharkhand

Four members of a family died suspectedly of food poisoning in Pasnaur village under Gama block in Giridih district while three others were admitted in hospital today, official sources said.
    
Giridih sub-divisional officer KP Singh said the victims are two teenaged girls and their grandparents who are in their late 50s.

The family members were taken to a nearby health centre after they complaint of uneasiness after consuming fish, he said.

The grandparents of the girls were declared brought dead while the seriously ill were succumbed in course of treatment.

Two women of the family were under treatment at Giridih sadar hospital while a boy of the family was admitted in a private nursing home, he said.

As the family has business, Singh said majority of the male were away from home when the incident occurred.
