Fire at oil extraction plant in Vijaywada

The fire officials came to a conclusion that the accident might have caused due to short circuit.

A major fire broke out at Sri Krishnaveni Agro Oil mills at Gudivada in Krishna district in the early hours of today.
   
In the fire accident, 10 tonnes of vax material which was left out after extracting oil from rice bran destroyed and the value of the loss is estimated at Rs10 lakhs by Fire Service Department. But owners of the plant R Sobhanadri Chowdary claimed that the loss is between Rs15 lakh and Rs20 lakh, Fire Department officer V Veerabhadra Rao said
    
He said that they received a call at 5.25 am and immediately the fire tenders reached the spot. Three fire tenders from Gudivada and two from Pamarru and Kaikaluru also pressed into service.    

After taking control of the fire, the fire officials collected samples of the destroyed vax from the scene. The fire officials came to a conclusion that the accident might have caused due to short circuit. However, Fire and Police departments are investigating the case after registering a complaint.
