FIR against Rashtriya Janata Dal MLA Dinesh Yadav and supporters

An FIR was today lodged against newly-elected Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Dinesh Yadav and his supporters on charge of violating prohibitory order and displaying arms during a victory procession at Jagdishpur bazar in Ara district, a police officer said.

Yadav and his 200-odd supporters took out the procession from district RJD office to the bazar violating the prohibitory orders and flaunting arms, the superintendent of police (SP) Kishore Yadav said.

The SP said on his instruction the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Suresh Panjiar lodged an FIR against the RJD MLA and his supporters under relevant sections of IPC.
