China’s military might seems to dominate India’s defence policy, which has raised concern over Beijing making inroads into our immediate neighbourhood.

“Rapid infrastructure development in the Tibet Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Province has considerably ungraded China’s military force projection and application capability against India and improved their overall strategic and operational flexibility,” says the Defence Ministry’s annual report for 2011-2012, released on Monday.

The report also talked about Chinese footprints in India’s immediate neighbourhood, which are increasing progressively.
