Samajwadi Party today asked Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati to disclose the names and nature of action taken against the 500 BSP workers who were expelled from their party for having criminal antecedents.

"It has been a week since Mayawati claimed to have expelled 500 criminals from the party but their names are yet to be made public as well as what action has been taken against them," SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said.

On her claims that criminal elements have been planted in her party by rival political parties, Chaudhary asked her to also make public her views on several ministers and MLAs in her party who had joined it after quitting the SP.

This was necessary as she might blame the SP in future for sending them in the BSP, Chaudhary said.

He said the claims made by Mayawati on this issue were indicative of her administrative incapability and political immaturity.
