'Leaders of the two parties (JD-U and BJP)will sit together and take an amicable decision to this effect,' the Bihar chief minister said.
Clarifying that his alliance with the BJP during the assembly elections would be "intact", Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today said the delimitation of constituencies would not impact the "seat-sharing or seat-adjustment" between the ruling parties in the state.
"For the first time the assembly elections in Bihar will be held after delimitation of constituencies. But I don't think it would impact the seat adjustment or seat sharing accord with the BJP," Kumar told reporters.
"Leaders of the two parties (JD-U and BJP)will sit together and take an amicable decision to this effect," he said.
Referring to 'Bihar Divas' celebrations across the state on March 22, Kumar said the event was a "grand success."
"We will think of holding a week-long celebration from next year after the encouraging response from the people of the state," the chief minister added.
