Cop hangs self in AP district

A police constable committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence here, police said today.
 
VVS Rajendra Naik (40) attached to Simhadripuram police station took the extreme step on Saturday, they said.
 
The cop who belonged to the 1991 batch was allegedly facing some family problems which led him to end his life, police said.
 
Naik is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
