Congress functionary found murdered in Raj party office

The body of a block-level leader of Congress was found with stab injuries in the party office at Nagaur district, barely ten days ahead of the municipal elections in the state.
     
Police said Mukund Raj Jain (60), general secretary of the Deedwana Congress Block Committee in Nagaur, about 300 kms from here, was found murdered.
     
Some unidentified assailants had attacked him in the office in the wee hours, police said.
     
Mukund was called from home to the party office in connection with municipality polls slated for November 23.

Later his body was found with stab injuries.
