The Rajasthan government today set up a high powered committee to expedite the process of insurance claim of the victims of IOC oil depot fire, asking officials to take up their cases at the earliest.
Additional director of the state Insurance Department Subhash Sharma, Additional General Manager (Finance) of RIICO and heads of all assurance and insurance companies have been included in the committee, according a government order here.
The committee will hold its meeting on regular basis every week.
Meanwhile, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje visited the Sitapura industrial areas.
Raje criticised the Congress government for not giving relief package for local businessmen and industrialists.
