Chargesheet was filed against underworld don, Abu Salem in connection with the fake passport case, before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, here on Tuesday.

Salem's lawyer, P C Bedi had contended that there could be no case against his client as the police had not seized any fake passport from him.

However, the prosecution lawyer, Satish Dinkar argued that charges should be framed against Salem as he had tried to get a fake passport made.

Earlier, Salem was brought here by train this morning and he was produced in the court at around 12.30 pm.
