The CBI has filed two more charge sheets in a city court against three accused of a Commonwealth Games-related corruption case for allegedly trying to evade arrest and trial in the main graft case.

In its first supplementary charge sheet, filed in Special Judge Talwant Singh's court, the CBI sought the trial of Hyderabad-based AKR Construction Pvt Ltd's promoter A K Reddy on additional charges of evading arrest in the main case, involving award of a Games-related contract at inflated rates.

The second charge sheet was against promoters of Faridabad-based Gem International, Purushottam Dev Arya and Anil Kumar Madan on similar ground udner Section 174 of the Indian Penal Code.

The trio had earlier been declared proclaimed offenders in the case for avoiding court summons and arrest warrants for their failure to submit themselves to the court's authority to stand trial.

The three are now facing trial along with sacked Commonwealth Games Organising Committee chief Suresh Kalmadi for their alleged role in the award of contract for installation of Times, Scoring and Result System for the Games to a Swiss firm.

The Swiss firm had later sub-contracted its work to Faridabad-based Gem International, which had, in turn, given it to Reddy's Hyderabad-based firm.
