BSF fires in air along International Border over suspicious movement

The jawans of 4 battalions of the Border Security Force fired two para bombs to light up the area and later fired some rounds in the air but there was no response from the other side.

The BSF today fired in the air along the Indo-Pak border after noticing some suspected movements of militants in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
    
The jawans of 4 battalions of the Border Security Force picked up some suspected movement near a border outpost along International Border (IB) in Hira nagar forward belt during pre-dawn, official sources said.
    
The troops fired two para bombs to light up the area and later fired some rounds in the air, they said, adding there was no response from the other side.
    
A search operation has been launched in the area, they added.
