The on-going winter session of Parliament has seen repeated disruptions from the first day over the opposition demand for a JPC probe.
BJP parliamentary party today decided to pursue its demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the 2G spectrum, Adarsh Housing Society and Commonwealth Games scams and would move adjournment motions in both Houses of Parliament to press for the same.
"In his address at the parliamentary party meeting today, LK Advani said we should not get disheartened that our demand for a JPC probe into these scams has not been met. We will continue with our demand for a JPC. Our fight against corruption started in the last session," eputy Leader of BJP in Rajya Sabha SS Ahluwalia told reporters.

Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj told her MPs in the meeting that in the past no demand for a JPC was granted immediately and had been met only after a struggle.
"To monitor the investigating agencies probing these scams there is a need for a JPC," Ahluwalia said.
Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley told party MPs that CAG reports are sent to the parliamentary public accounts committee (PAC) which analyses it paragragh by paragraph but it never comes to the two Houses of Parliament for a discussion. Hence, there was a need for a JPC to probe all aspects of the 2G spectrum allocation scam.
"Jaitley said that we have no faith in the CBI. And there is a question mark over the credibility of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) so we have no faith in CVC either," Ahluwalia told reporters.
About the all-party luncheon meeting called by leader of the House in Lok Sabha and finance minister Pranab Mukherjee to discuss the demand for a JPC, Advani lightly remarked in the meeting that though there was all certainty that food would be served there was little hope of any solution being found.
Asked about the supplementary demands for grants listed for the day, Ahluwalia said the responsibility of smooth functioning of Parliament lies with the government and ideally it should be passed after a discussion.
