Union minister of state for Agriculture Arun Yadav today called on Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and discussed issues relating to the state's development.

Union minister of state for Agriculture Arun Yadav on Friday called on Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and discussed the state's development.
Yadav met the chief minister at his office in Guwahati and discussed ways to develop agriculture, industry, fishery and wildlife sectors.
Official sources said Gogoi urged Yadav to sanction more funds in the development sectors.
The chief minister stressed that several steps have been taken by the state government in the last 10 years to improve the plight of the poor and the farmers.
"In the third term of our government our priority will be develop the farmers and the rural areas", Gogoi said.
The Union minister assured Centre's help to the state government.
