Artificial lake to come up in Jammu city

An artificial lake will come up in the heart of the city at a cost of Rs110 crore.

"The lake will have an approximate length of 1450 meters and will be 600 meters wide", minister for irrigation and flood control Taj Mohi-ud-Din told reporters in Jammu after taking stock of the construction work.

He hoped that the number of tourists flocking the state will increase after the project is completed.
