ABVP calls for CBI enquiry into ice cream parlour sex scandal

Demanding a CBI enquiry into the ice cream parlour sex scandal case and the recent revelations of a sabotage, the Akhil Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today said the government should take the initiative for a re-investgation of the case.
   
M K Sreelatha, Vice-President, State ABVP, said, considering the recent revelations regarding the ice cream parlour case and the alleged involvement of both the ruling Left Democratic Front and the opposition United Democratic Front, the probe should be conducted by the central agency.
   
On the appointing of a Special Police Team to probe the recent discloures in connection with the ice cream parlour case, she said "we know what would be the result if an official from Kerala investigates."
    
ABVP will take the lead for a nationwide agitation against corruption, she said.
