With the mystery in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case remaining unsolved, the CBI has questioned the teenager's uncle Dinesh Talwar and others, including a doctor who was the first to see the decomposed body of her domestic help.

Official sources said the special team of CBI, which is re-investigating the two-year-old case, recently questioned
retired police officer KK Gautam, Dinesh Talwar and Sushil Choudhary, owner of I Care hospital in New Delhi.

"We wanted to know who discovered Hemraj's body first because as per the initial investigation reports, the body was discovered the day the Talwar couple were in Haridwar for the girl's last rites.

"KK Gautam accompanied by Dr Sushil Choudhary, a family friend of the Talwars, had reached his house to express condolences. Dinesh was present at their place at that time. Gautam had claimed that during his visit he detected blood stains on the stairs leading to the terrace of the flat. Following the trail of blood, he detected the dead body of the missing domestic help," a source said.

"It is difficult to believe that the trail of blood was not seen by anyone until Gautam noticed it," he said.

Yam Prasad Banjade alias Hemraj, the 45-year-old Nepalese national and the family's domestic help, was initially considered by the Noida police as the prime suspect in the murder case until his badly decomposed body was discovered on the terrace of the Talwar's residence the day after Aarushi was found dead.

Aarushi Talwar, the 14-year-old daughter of Dr Nupur and Dr Rajesh Talwar, was found dead with her throat slit in her parents' home at Jalvayu Vihar in Noida on May 15, 2008.

The CBI had called the parents of the deceased on May 19 to Dehradun for questioning in regard to their daughter's murder case.

The CBI had carried out narco-analysis test on Nupur and Rajesh between February 8 and 20 this year at the Gandhinagar forensic laboratory. However, it failed to get any concrete clue which could help investigators in solving the murder case of the teenager and the domestic help.
