All top cops of the country are gearing up for grueling sessions at upcoming annual three day meet on internal security. Not only Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is often blamed for spending most of his time on foreign tours, will be present in all the sessions on all the there days at conclave's venue in Runn of Kuchh, Gujarat, he would also be joining in yoga sessions that will held every morning.

The itinerary has made the top cops – Director Generals and Inspector Generals of state police and paramilitary forces – are a worried lot as many of them have no idea of Yoga and can hardly bend their waist. They are soon expected to receive a detailed letter by the IB asking them to pack their track suits and band-galla jackets and strictly stick to the dress code. The instruction cum invitation letter that about to be sent by the IB is expected to have sari as the dress code for women top cops.

The meet held under the aegis of Intelligence Bureau every year has kept the media totally out of bounds and the press will not even be allowed to cover the Prime Minister and Home Minister's speeches that has been the usual practice all through the years. Such is the clamp down that not even media of the home state will be allowed to cover any of the sessions.

"It is good for us in a way as otherwise you all will make a joke of our Yoga and dress code," said a senior officer in good humour.

The sessions spread across three days from January 18 to 20 in the picturesque Runn of Kuchh will be held in camps constructed for the tourist festival. Special big Pandals are being constructed to hold the grand meet. Some officers are mortified with the thought that they will have to stay put in tents for all three days and be attentive during all the sessions because of the presence of PM Modi.

Those who are in habit of spending colourful evenings are more put off as Gujarat is strictly a prohibited state and there are not chances of getting the colour inside the venue.
