The district court here today granted bail to an accused in the April 28 murder case of a security guard of a Kodanadu bungalow, which belonged to late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa.

Two of the 10 persons arrested in connection with the case, Santosh Swamy and Manor Swamy, hailing from Kerala and currently lodged in the Central Jail in Coimbatore, had filed bail petitions before the court yesterday.

After hearing the arguments, Judge P Vadamalai granted bail to Santhosh Swamy and rejected the other petition.

Ten persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of Om Bahadur and robbery in the bungalow on the night of April 28.
