Twitter users paid tribute to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The whole nation is mourning the death of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The three-time prime minister and Bharat Ratna awardee Vajpayee passed away on Thursday evening. The central government has declared a seven-day national mourning. Vajpayee will be accorded a state funeral.
People from all walks of life are expressing their sadness over the passing of one of the biggest leaders of this generation. Vajpayee, known as great unifier in the political circles, was a popular leader among the masses.
He was adored by the people for his brilliant oratory skills. He led India thorugh an important period of transition guiding it into next century. He was also well-loved across party lines.
Vajpayee was unwell for a long time and people were praying for his recovery on social media. As soon as the news of his demise came, people took to social media to express their grief and pay tribute to the former prime minister.

Atal bihari vajpayee
The body of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has being taken to his residence in the national capital where people can pay their last respects, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said. The government also said the state funeral of Vajpayee will be held at Delhi's Smriti Sthal on Friday.
