Why Sonam Kapoor is possibly the best choice to play Neerja Bhanot

Sonam Kapoor might be more applauded for her impeccable dressing sense and spectacular magazine covers, but the actress has also received critical acclaim for few of her author backed roles. After a series of commercial masala films, Sonam has decided to take one step ahead by playing the brave air hostess Neerja Bhanot in her next film, which is a biopic. 

The actress who has already started shooting for the biopic shared few pictures from the sets and we cannot help but exclaim that the artists have carefully made sure Sonam looks a lot similar to the daredevil flight attendant. Calling it her most special people, Sonam tweeted a picture revealing her look from the film.

It would be absolutely right to say that the makers have made the right choice in casting Sonam for the role. While the first element of the biopic - looking her part- has already brought in huge applause for Sonam, the actress needs to turn on the acting fire within to make sure people love her performance as well. Given that Sonam shone in an author backed role like Ranjhanaa, it would not be surprising to see Sonam deliver her career-best in the Neerja Bhanot biopic. 

The story of Neerja, a daredevil flight attendant who gave up on her own life to save the Pan Am flyers, will be helmed by Ram Madhvani.
