Why Ranbir Kapoor won't promote his next film 'Roy'

Just a few days back, the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Roy was released and it received good response from the masses. While the crime drama has Arjun and Jackie in the lead, Jr Kapoor plays a small cameo in the Vikranmjit Singh’s debut directorial venture and that’s the reason why the versatile actor feels he shouldn’t go all out promoting Roy. In fact, he wants the RA.One baddie to be the face of this film and do all the promotions. While talking to a leading daily, a source said, “Since its a cameo, Ranbir doesn’t feel the need to publicise the film. It’s Arjun Rampal’s film, so Ranbir prefers that Arjun take charge of the promotions. Ranbir has fulfilled his commitment.”

Well, we now Ranbir doesn’t have a full-fledged role in Arjun-Jacqueline starrer but what’s interesting is that he is playing the central character in the film that is Roy. So if Katrina Kaif’s beau has such a pivotal role then its bit strange of him to not promote the film, hai na? Maybe the Jagga Jasoos actor isn’t sure of his film’s success and doesn’t want another flop to his credit after Besharam. Maybe that’s the reason why he distancing himself from Roy, who knows.

Our theory could very well be wrong but one thing is sure – If Ranbir Kapoor is playing Roy in Roy then he should promote the film!
