The emotions run very high in the new trailer for Finding Dory as the tiny little blue fish sets out on a new course, this time to find her parents.

In the sequel to Pixar's wildly appreciated animated movie Finding Nemo, we see Dory, the fish with short-term memory loss, trying to find her home. In this new adventure, she is accompanied by Nemo and his father Marlin. Surfer dude turtles are also coming back, and so is Mr Sting Ray.

In the new trailer, we see Dory as a kid, away from her home without any memory of it. We see her grow up to be the fish we know her as now. Dory is aware of her short-term memory loss. And now she needs to find her parents. On the way to finding them in the big bad ocean, she gets 'rescued' by the Marine Life Institute. Here we meet a whole new gang of characters.

We see Hank the octopus who just wants to get away from the institute and escape to a cozy Cleveland facility where kids visiting the institute will not touch him. He could be Dory, Nemo, and Marlin's ride out.

This is when Destiny, Dory's friend and clumsy shark whale tries to help her out. Everyone including Bailey, the resident Beluga whale; Becky, kooky loon; Rudder and Fluke, Sea Lions conspire to help Dory meet her parents Charlie and Jenny.

There is light-heartedness of the first movie and the animation is several notches above the 2003 original. Dory is looking for her home, her parents but Nemo is afraid of losing her. Meanwhile, Marlin still cannot believe that he has left the comfort of his house again for another adventure.

Ellen DeGeneres returns to voice Dory.

Here is the rest of the cast -

Nemo - Hayden Rolence
Marlin - Albert Brook
Hank - Ed O'Neill
Bailey - Ty Burell
Destiny - Kaitlin Olson
Charlie - Eugene Levy
Jenny - Diane Keaton
Becky - Torbin Bullock
Rudder - Dominic West

The adorable world under the seas will hit the theatres on June 17.
