Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge is close to signing on for a role in the Young Han Solo movie.
The 31-year-old actress might play a performance-capture character opposite Alden Ehrenreich's new version of Harrison Ford's galactic smuggler, reported Variety.
The movie is currently filming, with Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, and Emilia Clarke.
The LEGO Movie and 21 Jump Street filmmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing the project, and the untitled movie is set for release in 2018.
If the negotiations clear all the hurdles, Waller-Bridge will be in the company of Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, and Alan Tudyk who play (using motion-capture techniques) Supreme Leader Snoke, Maz Katana, and droid K-2SO, respectively, in the Star Wars universe.
The Young Han Solo movie is set before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope. Just like the recent release Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
