NBA star Lamar Odom recovering; able to walk again

Lamar Odom who was struggling for his life after being found unconscious in a brothel, is now recovering really well and has started to walk.

The NBA star is reportedly moving around with the help of a walker and people holding him up, and is expected to be able to walk without any aid in the next week or so, Channel24.com reported.

Before this, the 35-year-old basketball star's fan were relieved when the player was taken off from dialysis, which was shocking for the doctors as they warned that he would require kidney transplant. However, Odom's brain injuries are still said to be serious and he is being treated as a victim of brain trauma after suffering multiple strokes. 

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian, Lamar's ex-wife, has been by the athlete's side since he was hospitalised in Las Vegas on October 13, after he was found unconscious at a brothel in nearby Crystal, Nevada.

To make Odom feel happy on his birthday, Khloe is planning to throw a small party in the hospital. An insider revealed that the 31- year-old TV personality has done all the preparations and the venue will be decked up with balloons besides cake, E! Online reports. Source continued that the Kardashian clan and a few of Lamar's closest pals will be present.
