MTV VMAs 2015: Miley Cyrus's fashion stirs up controversy

Pop star Miley Cyrus raised eyebrows at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards with her appearances in multiple skimpy outfits that ranged from a racy romper to a swimsuit.

The 22-year-old Wrecking Ball singer hosted for the ceremony honouring the best in the music world.

She took the carpet by storm in a metallic Versace confection that left little to the imagination, completed with buckled suspenders that just barely covered her modesty. The infamous VMA twerker also donned revealing cutouts and strategically placed techni coloured polka dots during the award show. She sported blond dreads pulled into a high ponytail that cascaded down her back

During a commercial break, she accidentally flashed the audience. The camera turned on a topless Cyrus when she was changing behind a curtain and looked up, reported the New York Daily News.

The singer finished the look off wearing thigh-high boots with stacked gold heels, and a USD 6,000 Judith Leiber Unicorn Swarovski Crystal Clutch.
