Actress Mila Kunis' stalker, Stuart Lynn Dunn, was caught by police in an alley in Santa Monica, four days after he escaped from Olive Vista Behavioural Health Center in Pomona.

Dunn, 30, escaped from the mental health facility in the past weekend by climbing out a bathroom window. Kunis, 31, was soon notified of the escape as he was deemed dangerous, reported Ace Showbiz.

The major crimes division of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department later received information indicating Dunn could be in Santa Monica, next to Los Angeles, department spokesperson Nicole Nishida said.

They, working with Santa Monica police, found him in an alley in Santa Monica on Wednesday morning. He was soon arrested for violating his probation.

"Mr Dunn's arrest was the result of the diligent efforts led by the Los Angeles County Probation Department's special enforcements operation and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's major crimes division," Nishida said.

Dunn was arrested in 2012 for breaking into the "Jupiter Ascending" actress' condominium. Violating a restraining order, he was taken into custody again months later after he waited for Kunis outside her gym for three consecutive days.

After stalking the "Friends with Benefits" actress, he was sentenced to six months of rehabilitation and five years of probation and ordered to stay away from Kunis and her representatives for ten years.

In April, Dunn was released early from prison with work and good behaviour credits and was transferred to Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center in Pomona.
