It's 'Dhaakad' Kangana Ranaut vs 'Prithviraj' Akshay Kumar vs 'Valimai' Ajith on Diwali 2020

Like every year, Akshay Kumar had booked the four festivals of the year, including Diwali 2020. He would be seen in Prithviraj co-starring Miss World Manushi Chhillar in the lead. While his film was already clashing with Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad, there is another name added to the list.

Ajith's Valimai is now slated to release on Diwali 2020, same as Akshay Kumar's Prithiviraj and Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad. Producer Boney Kapoor confirmed the news at Zee Cine Awards Tamil 2020. "Valimai is a complete mass entertainer with emotions and it is releasing on Diwali 2020," said Boney.

Boney said so while presenting the title of 'Most Empowering performer of the decade' to Ajith on the stage of Zee Cine Awards Tamil 2020. On hearing the happy news, 'Thala' Ajith fans soon started trending Diwali 2020 due to the same reason.

Backed by YRF, Prithviraj is being helmed by Mohalla Assi director Chandraprakash Dwivedi. While the shooting of this film has just begun and Valimai announcement was just made, Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad announcement teaser was unveiled in 2019. The movie is directed by Razneesh Ghai.
