Ranveer Singh has been making headlines for all the right reasons. After the unprecedented response received on the 'Malhari anthem' a few days back, the Bajirao Mastaani actor is back in news for his cool 'Maratha' look that he has been seen wearing, even after the film is done.

However, sources revealed that the actor's fans have adored the drastically different look of this actor. Ranveer Singh, who is seen sporting a bald look and a fine moustache for his role of 'Bajirao' in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus is reminiscent of the kind that was sported in the early 1700's.

Says Ranveer, "During the initial stages of the filming process I had to stick a fake moustache since I didn't have the time to grow a real one before we commenced filming. It was very difficult to shoot with the stick-on mooch. But the two-month delay caused by my shoulder injury gave me just enough time to grow out my real one, replete with the curled handlebars and the works."

Social media has been abuzz with the fans of the actor sending pictures to Ranveer sporting the look under the #BajiraoMovember movement.

"The #BajiraoMovember movement has picked up and fans are sending in their pictures of their 'mooch' . I love seeing them! I check all out myself - I find them very cute and rather amusing! The fashion fraternity often credits me with bringing back the moustache as a style statement and I'm very grateful for that," the Ram Leela actor revealed.

Ranveer Singh was awarded the most stylish star among males in the Femina Style Awards 2015 which were held on November 30 in Mumbai. When asked what keeps him going with the look, this is what the 30- year old actor had to say:

"I have grown to become quite attached to my moustache. I curl it in the mornings and play with it all day. I feel it's a serious style statement ; it gives a guy an edge & an attitude,"  Ranveer added.

Ranveer Singh will be seen next in Bajirao Mastaani which hits theatres on December 18.
