Karan Johar is now the proud single father of twins via surrogacy. The news broke out on Sunday and Karan even released an official statement on his Twitter account, informing that he has named his son Yash (after his father Yash Johar) and daughter Roohi (which is an anagram of his mother's name Hiroo). He also thanked the surrogate and Dr. Jatin Shah.

Now, as per a report on the Times Of India, KJo's twins have been in the hospital since their premature birth on February 7. Reportedly, they are likely to be discharged after 2 more weeks.

Speaking to the daily, a family friend of Karan informed that the twins were born to a surrogate in an Andheri nursing home and were immediately shifted to Surya Mother and Child Hospital in Santacruz. He was quoted saying, "They are in NICU and likely to be there for a couple of weeks or more." 

Reportedly, the twins were born around two months premature and weighed about 1.5 kg each.
