'Dangal' is a commercial film: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan is known to do things in a unique fashion. Staying true to his nature, Aamir who is busy prepping up and shaping up for his next- Dangal spoke openly about the film.

At the recently help press conference celebrating his 50th birthday, Aamir confirmed that he is rigorously busy prepping up for Dangal. "I play a wrestler in the film and I have been piling on weight. I have been having almost everything to increase my body weight. but recently I turned vegan so it has become all the more difficult now. I am 90 kilos now", the actor said.

When asked if the film is an out and out commercial film, the actor shot back. "It is up to you how you perceive the film. To me, Dangal is definitely a commercial film. But the rest is upo the people to decide"

Aamir will be seen in a salt and pepper look for the first time in Dangal, playing father to three girls. But the actor reveals that the film is still in the casting stage and the makers are looking out for actresses. "Whatever I read in the papers is all rubbish. There's no truth to it. Nitesh is still casting and we have not yet finalised anyone to play my daughters in the film."

The film will take over eight months to be shot, exclaims Aamir. "We start shooting in September. Then we shoot for a few months and take a break. In the break, I will have to lose all the weight I gained and then again resume shooting which will continue till May next year. We are coming on Christmas next year with our film", signed off the superstar.
