Abhishek Bachchan to be first-ever Indian to take part in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan will attend NBA All-Star 2015 and participate in the Sprint NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on February 13 at Madison Square Garden as a goodwill ambassador to the league.

He will become the first-ever Indian to take part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, the NBA said in a statement.

"Bachchan will meet NBA players and legends throughout the weekend and will go behind the scenes at NBA All-Star Saturday Night and the 64th NBA All-Star Game," it said.

Bachchan, who owns the Jaipur Pink Panthers team in Pro Kabbadi League and Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League, was previously associate with NBA for the launch of NBAstore.In last year.

"I'm excited and honoured to be attending my first-ever NBA All-Star as a goodwill ambassador to the league. I know my trip will show fans in India the excitement, energy and athletic ability of the NBA game and its players. Basketball is my first love, and I look forward to supporting basketball's continued growth in India," Bachchan said.
