A couple was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a hotel in West Delhi's Rajouri Garden area. On investigating, police said that the couple also left a suicide note in which they said they did not blame anyone for their death.
The police have called family members to help with the investigation.
According to the police, the incident took place on Saturday evening when staffers of Hotel Aman Deluxe informed the police that two persons who had checked in as a couple at the hotel did not open the room.
The police officials reached the location and found a male aged around 29 years and a female aged around 27 years lying dead on the bed.
Investigating officials revealed that the man and woman checked in as a couple on Friday. The booking was done in the name of K Suresh from Kerala.
The police officers also recovered a suicide note written in the regional language. The boy had addressed his mother in the suicide note and stated that he did not blame anyone for the death and apologised for taking this extreme step.
The couple had ordered breakfast at 9.30 am. They had ordered parathas with dahi and two cups of tea. The parathas and dahi were found intact and the tea had been consumed by them. Prima facie it appears the couple committed suicide.
The identity of the girl is yet to be established and police are investigating as to whether she was a local. Police said the boy had come from out of Delhi and reached the Capital by train on October 13.
Earlier, in June this year, a teenage couple was found hanging from a ceiling fan after checking into a Oyo room in south west Delhi. Police interrogated the parents of the respective teenagers who stated that they did not know that the two were friends and had no idea why the they would have wanted to end their lives.
