The Southern arm of Indian Railways, South Central Railway has issued notification regarding 14 vaccancies for Group C & D posts. Railways would want to fill these posts under Scouts and Guides Quota. Indian Railways would invite applications as mentioned for Group C and D which have two Group C posts and 14 Group D posts. The last date to apply is is July 3, 2018. Below we have listed down the all the information you need to know regarding the job offers.
The recruitment should be done by the Railway Administration itself.
The following qualifications would apply for recruitment of Scouts/guides to Group "C" and Group "D" posts.
a)A President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover
or
Himalayan Wood Badge Holder
or
A pre-HWB trained Scout leader/Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organisation for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
c)Should have attended at least one event at national level and one or two events at state level.
Or
Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guide activities at Unit/district level.
The educational qualifications for consideration for appointment against the quota will be the same as applicable for recruitment to Group "C" and Group "D" categories respectively.
Group C
The candidates should be 10th pass with holder of ITI OR 12th class pass certificate.
The candidates should also hhave experience in Scouts & Guides
Group D
Candidates should be 10th class pass with ITI / NAC
They should have experience in Scouts & Guides
