Shah Rukh Khan birthday bash: Trolls tell Gauri Khan to "act and dress your age"

Social media is as uncertain as it gets and a huge fan following means constantly being in the eye of the storm. One second it can make you famous and the other, you might just be trolled and bullied online for your choices. The most hard-hit by such form of shaming are certainly our B-town celebrities with trollers leaving no stone unturned to target them for just about anything. 

Moreover, it is more difficult for female celebrities who are constantly bullied for their outfit choices. From Sonam Kapoor to Fatima Sana Shaikh and very recently Ameesha Patel, a host of celebrities have been slut-shamed time and again. 

The latest to join the wagon is Gauri Khan, who was recently trolled for her outfit, after she posted pictures from her husband Shah Rukh Khan's birthday bash in Alibaug. The star-wife, who was wearing a white see-through dress paired with a fuchsia bikini, was targeted for "not acting her age" and for wearing a dress that was revealing, questioning why she needs to expose.

The crass and derogatory comments on her picture certainly puts a big question mark on the society we live in, which constantly promises to empower women. 

Well, Gauri’s outfit was certainly to die for and kudos to her for carrying it with such ease.
