Saif Ali Khan underwent minor knee and tricep surgery in Mumbai.
Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital and has undergone knee and tricep surgery today (January 22). The actor revealed that it was a minor surgery which was long due.
Saif Ali Khan who is busy shooting for his upcoming movie Devara, recently underwent a minor knee and trice surgery at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Reportedly, Saif’s wife, Kareena, was also at the hospital to be alongside him. However, the actor is doing fine and is currently recuperating as reported by India Today.
Talking about his surgery, Saif Ali Khan told India Today, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.”
Earlier, there were reports that Saif Ali Khan had injured his knee and shoulder while shooting a scene in Devara. However, according to reports, the actor underwent tricep surgery because of an old injury that got triggered while performing an action sequence in the film.
Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Adipurush which also starred Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Sharma. The film, however, failed at the box office. The actor will next be seen in Koratala Siva’s Devara. The film also stars Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. Saif will be seen playing the role of a villain in the film. As per reports, Devara is being made on a huge budget. The makers are reportedly spending a whopping Rs 140 crore on its VFX. The rumor mill is rife that the makers are also spending 33 percent of the movie’s original budget on special effects. The film is set to release in theatres on April 5 and marks Telugu debut of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.
