Ranveer Singh's Simmba shooting starts today

Today, Rohit Shetty begins filming his next movie, Simmba, at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.

To mark the launch of the big-ticket entertainer which stars Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, the entire team will be flying down to the Andhra Pradesh capital. Karan Johar, who is producing the movie jointly with the blockbuster director, is headed there, too. The multi-faceted filmmaker is scheduled to return to the bay by the end of today. Sara, who has a few days’ shoot, is expected to return to the city to resume her portions for Kedarnath, while Rohit will continue shooting with Ranveer. Sonu will join them on June 8 for the long spell.
