Ranbir Kapoor's 'Sanju' becomes the first Hindi movie to be available for visually impaired audience in theatres

A special screening of 'Sanju' will be held in Delhi on August 1

Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' starring Ranbir Kapoor is not only garnering commercial success but is also winning hearts. The intriguing life of Sanjay Dutt, has been pulling huge crowds in theatres. The film has already minted Rs 337.28 cr and is experiencing a good run at the theatres in its fourth week despite new releases. 

Owing to the overwhelming response, the makers have now decided to hold a special screening for the visually impaired audience, who has yet been watching the film on XL Cinema app. The screening will be held on 1st August in Delhi in presence of Ministry of Social Justice and Employment and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

It will be an inclusive show where both blind and sighted people would be able to watch the film together. The visually impaired will get to experience the film with audio description through XL cinema application in the theatre. 

Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst others. Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios. 'Sanju' was released on 29th June and is still going strong at the box office.
