Haters once again pick on PC for her choice of clothes and not wearing a saree on August 15...
Looks like the haters can never get enough of what our desi girl Priyanka Chopra wears. Whether she meets PM Narendra Modi, or makes a head turning style statement at MET Gala, the haters always find a way to pick on her attire. The same has happened once again, on the occasion of India's 70th Independence Day.
Just like other celebs from B-Town, Priyanka too took to her social media accounts to express her feelings on the occasion. She posted a boomerang video on her Instagram account in which she is seen holding her tricolour dupatta in her hand and waving it. She captioned the picture writing, "Independence Day #Vibes #MyHeartBelongsToIndia #happyindependencedayindia #jaihind" Bas, Phir kya tha? The haters found a new reason to troll PC.
They started posting all sorts of nonsensical comments on the picture like, "No will marry you,do whatever u wish to .Shameless woman for u #Tricolor is just a thing" and "Next time she will wear a tricolour bikini if no one teaches her some manners and modesty today."
Some suggested that she should have worn a saree and not insulted the National flag by wearing a Western attire. While some even went to the extent of saying that she should never come back to India.
However, it was heartening to see that Priyanka's supporters gave it back to the haters and left no stone unturned in fighting for her. One of them wrote, "I am an Indian , I can wear whatever I want as well as Priyanka you are not anybody’s mother or father to judge, what to wear and what not to wear,it’s her life she Buy’s her own clothes she didn’t ask from you."
This in't the first time that PC is at the receiving end of a lot of flak for her choice of clothes. Earlier, when she met PM Narednra Modi, she was attacked for wearing a knee length dress while meeting him. Her MET Gala dress was also turned into a sea of memes on Twitter.
