‘Namastey England’: Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra seek blessings at Golden Temple before Amritsar schedule

After wrapping up Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are all set to reunite on the silver screen with Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Namastey England. Arjun, who had a gala time attending cousin Mohit Marwah – Antara Motiwala’s wedding at in the UAE, is back to work and kickstarted his next film on a spiritual note. 

Arjun and Parineeti along with Vipul visited Golden Temple to seek blessings before commencing their Amritsar schedule. The lead pair is all set to play Punjabi characters in the film and there would be no better start than seeking blessings at Golden Temple, Amritsar.

Interestingly, it was Arjun’s idea to visit the Golden Temple before moving towards the sets. “Arjun woke up and went straight to the Golden Temple so that he could seek blessings. It was an impromptu plan by him. He just woke up and said that he would like to pray at the Temple before he starts shooting the film. He spent about 30 mins praying alone and then went straight to the shoot and reached before time for shoot! Parineeti and Vipul were also with him at the Golden Temple. It was a really auspicious way to start the film,” a source from the sets revealed to India.com.

Meanwhile, Namastey England will be filmed at more than 75 location across the globe and the filmmaker  is looking forward to shooting the film is Amritsar followed by Ludhiana and Patiala. Arjun too is all excited to play his part in the film as the actor always wished to stay and discover Punjab get a deeper sense of the culture, the food and especially the people.
