Officials stop leakage of ammonia in Bangalore Dairy

Fireforce officials stopped the leakage within 15 minutes after it was noticed, chief fire officer EU Erappa said. Three engineers were evacuated.

Leakage of amonium at a maintenance unit of Bangalore Dairy unit in the city today was stopped immediately after it was detected, official sources said.

Fireforce officials stopped the leakage within 15 minutes after it was noticed, chief fire officer EU Erappa told PTI.

Three engineers who were inside the unit when the leak was noticed were immediately evacuated, he said.
