Fun begins at inter-college meet on Day 1

The inter-college fest of PES School of Engineering, Maaya 2011, was inaugurated at the institute’s Electronic City campus on Friday.

The two-day fest saw participation of about 4,000 students on day one.
Group singing, antakshari and Maaya Idol, mad ads, short movie-making were among the events held on Friday. Games such as Counter Strike, Street Cricket and slow drag were also organised.

Face painting, collage, theme photography and other competitions kept the students occupied.

Technical contests such as coding and online treasure hunt, literary competitions, and fashion shows were also held. Bangalore-based folk fusion band Swarathma will headline the fest on Saturday.
