PM Narendra Modi to interact with global fund heads at Vibrant Gujarat Summit

A round-table interaction with heads of global funds and one-on-one meetings with top industry and political leaders are among the events at Vibrant Gujarat Summit that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in during his two-day Gujarat visit next week.

Sources said that before the inaugural event of the summit at 10 am, Modi will hold one-on-one meetings with various dignitaries at Mahatma Mandir on January 18. There will be another round of meetings after the inaugural function, followed by round-table interaction with heads of global funds.

This will be followed by inauguration of laser, light and sound show at Dandi Kutir in Gandhinagar in the evening. He is expected to leave for Delhi at night, said officials.

The PM will also take part in a host of events on January 17, i.e. a day prior to the summit. Officials said that he will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat trade show at the Helipad ground in Gandhinagar in the afternoon, followed by inauguration of VS Hospital in Ahmedabad. The same evening, he will inaugurate the 12-day long Amdavad Shopping Festival.
