Gujarat elections 2017: 'Gyasuddin Hatavo, Congress Bachvo' posters in Dariapur

Around 50 posters and banners reading 'Gyasuddin Hatavo, Congress Bachvo' were found across various places in Dariapur constituency on Wednesday evening.

Gyasuddin Shaikh is the Congress MLA from Dariapur. Rajesh Brahmbhatt, a Congress supporter, said, "Shaikh is an agent of BJP. It was because of him that the party was in a fix during the RS elections. Shaikh is the right hand of Shankersinh Vaghela. If he really thinks for Congress or works for it then why did the party lost all seats in the civic polls here?"

He added, "We want Congress high command to listen to us. If they will repeat Shaikh, we are not going to win. Shaikh has conspired a lot against the party. Because of him, former GPCC in-charge Gurudas Kamat had to resign. He is always seen with those of BJP." He also claimed that bootlegging is flourishing here under Shaikh's mercy.
