‘Khadi’ fashion show organised in Mangaluru to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi
As the entire world is celebrating Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary, a unique initiative was taken in Mangaluru to mark the special occasion. A ‘Khadi’ fashion show was organised in the city which was appropriately named ‘Desi Walk’. Promoting the handloom, models walked the ramp in different ethnic outfits. The highlight of the show was a ramp walk by kids. The show was held with the intention of promoting homemade products.
