Raj Kumar Yadav alias Raju (40) and his associate Sushil Upadhyaya were shot at by unidentified motorcycle-borne persons near Gambhirpir late last night.

A Samajwadi Party leader was shot dead and his associate injured by unidentified persons, police said here today.
Raj Kumar Yadav alias Raju (40) and his associate Sushil Upadhyaya were shot at by unidentified motorcycle-borne persons near Gambhirpir late last night, they said.
The duo was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared Raju dead, police said.
