US State Department spokesman Mark Toner has said the relationship between America and Pakistan has grown “very complex” following the recent NATO attack.

Toner said that although there had been very high level contacts between both countries after NATO attack on Pakistani check posts, the relation remain complicated, The News reports.

Toner said the incident on November 26th was tragic and the reaction from Pakistan showed how important and significant this tragedy was for them.

The United States, however, insisted that Pakistan, Afghanistan and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) should work together in the bordering regions to avoid any further attack like the recent NATO strike that killed around 24 Pakistani soldiers.
